Not sure where you got the inshore 8 foot XH?? Not in Okuma listings.
Appreciate y'all describing the reels with "left retrieve" and "right retrieve." Much more clear than "left hand" and "right hand," which apparently has no agreed-upon definition in the fishing industry. I suggested this nomenclature change to one of your staff at a previous Bart Hall Show and glad you all listened!

purchased 9 feet one, I had been so excited to bring it out so I did, and it snapped for the first cast right at the tip where the guide on the tip was glued. Really disappointed, I hope it's just one of the defective tip but not for all in generel. I already contacted Sail to get a replacement or refund whatever on the warranty.
I had a quick question? I was recently in turners and came across a okuma California tc rod. It was only 80 dollars and the ratings on it seemed good. I pulled on it and it felt good. Are those rods good for fishing bluefin and other pelagic species?

Light, stiff rod. The tip keeps cutting the braid when I cast. Tried multiple, all the same. Fix the Tip!

There is a section on rivernear me with a big bend full of reeds. Every time i go kayaking down the river, i will see some massive fish splashing against the reeds. The other day, one of them started to fallow us.
I’m thinking of picking up the 10’ MH for striper fishing in So Cal ( and surf fishing in Baja Sur Mexico ) but I haven’t seen many reviews on this particular rod. I have a 9’, M Saltist and an 8’6” Okuma SST so my perch and halibut set ups are good. Just wondering how the 10’ MH Rockaway will work for bigger fish. Your input would be much appreciated 🏄🏼♂️🎣🤙🏻

@@OkumaFishingUSA The email address doesn't seem to work. I asked this because I bought a trio bf30 a few years ago as a back-up reel (because I liked trio 30) but never paired it with a rod yet. The rod that I used for trio 30 is an SST-S-702Ma. Would that rod also work for the bf version for using live bait with salmon/trout for bank fishing at the Lake Michigan?
